Westville Veterinary Hospital | 33.11 kW | Durban, South Africa
Generating Solar Power
In our latest project, the first of its kind, we’re solar powering a veterinary hospital!
Westville 24 hour Veterinary Hospital has over 50 years of experience and is an esteemed pet care facility with over 65 employees and state of the art equipment and medical expertise. The hospital also takes in stray animals with the hope of them being reclaimed, and they even offer free rabies vaccinations on a monthly basis to serve and educate the general public about this deadly disease.
Being one of the largest referral veterinary facilities in KwaZulu Natal, the hospital depends on its specialized diagnostic equipment which consumes a considerable amount of electricity. This is a supply currently coming at a very high cost, and this is where you come in!
By purchasing and leasing cells to this project, you’ll be relieving the financial burden of caring for South Africa’s companion animals, whilst also improving the global environment.
At your option you can donate any portion of your rental income to the Center for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (C.R.O.W). C.R.O.W were solar powered by Sun Exchange in 2017. They rehabilitate animals hurt by humans, vital work that you can now support by donating any portion of your rental income to this fantastic organisation.
