Generating Solar Power

About this project

Named after the Outenqiua Mountain range in the Western Cape, Outeniqua High School was established in 1923. This Afrikaans-language school offers first-rate education to over 1,600 learners. Its focus is on supporting learners to become the best versions of themselves and to always put their best foot forward. This is done through a wide range of subjects, cultural activities and competitive sports to build camaraderie. This school prides itself in its well-trained and dedicated staff and perfectly maintained facilities that enrich and encourage character-building among its learners.

As the school nears its centennial anniversary, it understands that the key to longevity is embracing modernity and sustainability. That is why going solar is of top priority.
